Join film tutors from the British Film Institute, for a week of fun-filled filmmaking activity in the sun. We will explore a range of different types and styles of film and try out a variety of filmmaking techniques. Discover how to shoot an exciting action sequence and explore editing to create special effects! Ultimately become immersed in a world of film and develop your ideas from storyboard to final screening. The Forte Village Film School is tailored to two age groups:
6 – 8 year olds: will be guided through the filmmaking process with a focus on animation.
9 – 12 year olds: will work on their own film ideas and in small teams will try out a variety of genres and techniques, resulting in a final film to be proud of.
