Rugby Academy
The Forte Village Academy brings rugby to Sardinia.
Forte Village is the site of the fantastic Rugby Academy, where kids up to age 14 will be able to get acquainted with this high-energy, team-oriented sport.
Young guests at Forte Village will have a chance to learn from several of rugby’s top stars from England, a country that has always been at the top of the world rankings and the Six Nations Championship.
Former British rugby star and member of the English national rugby union team William John Heaton Greenwood is one of the coaches on staff. He played in two Rugby World Cups, winning in Australia in 2003, where he played in all of the matches and was one of the top try scorers. Austin Sean Healey is another of the coaches, the top player in Leicester in 2000 and member of the national side in the 1999 World Cup. There is also Jim Hamilton, the Rugby coach at Caldicott Prep Schook in the UK for the last 10 years, where he has been training promising youngsters aged 7-13.
