La Maddalena Hotel & Yacht Club

La Maddalena Hotel & Yacht Club is situated on one of the most charming islands in the Mediterranean. An extraordinary project created from the reconversion of austere military architecture, it is today a magnificent hotel comprising a wonderful spa, conference centre, residence and fully equipped port.
The following establishments are open for the 2010 season:
- La Maddalena Hotel & Yacht Club, a highly refined complex inspired by the latest, most sophisticated design. 95 rooms, including 6 suites, are available. Completing the hotel are a splendid bar with sea view, an à la carte restaurant, a magnificent first-floor swimming pool acting as a wonderful continuation of the sky, and a fully equipped Wellness Centre with treatment rooms, Turkish bath, sauna and hydromassage.
- The Conference Centre, designed by the prestigious Stefano Boeri Architetti, was initially intended to host the G8 summit and is now fully operational and ready for new first-class encounters. With its futuristic crystal structure jutting out over the sea, it comprises five up to 300-seat conference rooms and a refined restaurant over a surface area of 1700 square metres. The latest in technology and the highest quality logistical support are to be found everywhere.
- The new Port hosts 600 boat moorings, 300 of which are for crafts of 100 metres or more in length. There are currently 100 boat moorings available. The work will be completed by 2011. The establishment provides mooring assistance, fuel distributor, 24-hour surveillance, 24-hour radio assistance, cranes and boat garaging. The port provides the assistance necessary for a brief stopover or a long holiday, with nautical and food supplies, shops, restaurants and an internet point. Naturally, the magnificent hotel and spa are available to visitors.
For the 2011 season, new establishments are set to open:
- A magnificent Residence which combines the elegance of contemporary design with the force of the island and the purity of its crystalline light. A few sample apartments will be available from June 2010.
- An extremely pleasant Shopping Area, with high-fashion boutiques and shops dedicated to every requirement of life at sea. Next to this is a wide choice of bars and restaurants which pay homage to Sardinian cuisine and the greatest of worldwide gastronomic traditions.
The complex as a whole, from hotel to spa, Conference Centre to port, takes the name of Porto Arsenale La Maddalena.
