If it’s true that Goethe wrote, “There is no surer way of evading the world than by Art; and no surer way of uniting with it than by Art,” what place could be better than the paradisiac Forte Village Resort in Santa Margherita di Pula for hosting a unique fine art exhibition? The Fondazione Mazzoleni will have the honour of presenting the show Summer Art to the exclusive audience of the guests of the award-winning resort for the tenth consecutive season. The exhibition will be set up in the Sala Baldacchino, now totally modernised and renamed in honour of the beauty of the Art Luxury Store.

Once again this year, the collection selected will see the great works of illustrious masters who shaped the history of art exhibited alongside those of 30 talented emerging Italian artists. The works will be displayed in the shade of the lush vegetation in the southern Sardinian location, which overlooks one of the brightest beaches of the Mediterranean.

The emerging artists, already valued by the public and critics, are different in style and kind. Their works will be alongside those of three great masters of world contemporary art – Arman, French sculptor and maestro known for his ‘Deconstructed Violins’, broken musical instruments hidden in the canvases or created in bronze; Salvador Dalì, father of Surrealism, represented by a rare and valuable collection of sculptures linked to his typical iconographies – ‘Soft watches’, ‘Space Venus’, ‘Horses’ and ‘Triumphant Elephant’. Last, but by no means least, Andy Warhol, the Pop Art genius, with a series of works of extraordinary prestige selected from the ‘Marilyn’ collection, the ‘Campbell’s’ tins and, icing on the cake, original pieces such as shoes, a hat and a vinyl record of the American star Michael Jackson autographed by the singer and Warhol after a legendary concert held in New York.

An exclusive exhibition in a unique setting which will inspire all those who love beauty and art.
